Riverfront Park is located on the Hudson River adjacent to Historic Hyde Park Train Station. There is a large pavilion that once served as a freight house for the railroads during the last century.

Amenities



Playgrounds and picnicking are popular here at this scenic parkland. The large pavilion can be reserved for private parties. There are ten 6 feet picnic tables under the raised pavilion which affords a scenic view of the Hudson River. Ramp is available for handicapped accessibility. There is a HC port-o-john there during the summer. When the Railroad Station is open for visitors, electric is available and can be arranged beforehand. Hyde Park Greenway Trail



The Hyde Park Greenway Trail meanders through the park which is situated between the National Park Service FDR Library and Museum to the south and Vanderbilt Historic Site to the north. The trail to both of these sites is approximately 0.5 miles in either direction. There is free public parking here. The trail head kiosk is located here where you can pick up a Hyde Park Trail map and brochure.
