Job vacancies for entrance level positions are filled either by Civil Service examinations, advertisements, or screening applications on file with the HR Department. View our employment application (PDF). You can also obtain an application in-person by stopping in the HR Department located in Town Hall or emailing your request.
Civil Service Examinations
Vacancies for competitive class positions are filled though civil service examinations. For more information regarding this process, you should contact the Dutchess County Human Resources Department. Positions in the labor, non-competitive and exempt class do not require an examination.
