MERRY & BRIGHT EVENT INFORMATION:
Hop in your car December 6th - 20th and ride around Hyde Park to see Holiday Displays created by both the community and the business owners of Hyde Park! Print out your map with ballot on the back and vote for your favorite display! Voting can be done online OR ballots can be dropped off The Hyde Park Recreation Department (59 East Market Street) any time between December 6th-December 20th. The Hyde Park Town Board will go live on Facebook on Sunday, December 20th at 7:30pm to announce the winners!
MERRY & BRIGHT KICK OFF EVENT!
We will have kick off on Sunday, December 6th starting at 6pm with
ONE NIGHT ONLY DISPLAYS including:
Hyde Park Fire Department
Hyde Park Highway Department
Roosevelt Fire Department
Hyde Park Police Station
Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site
PLUS!
Drive by Town Hall for the first night our town tree will be lit and wave hello to Town of Hyde Park Board Members!

Mission Statement
The Hyde Park Recreation Commission and Department are committed to providing quality recreation programs and services to all citizens of the town. Such programs and services are educational, cultural and social in nature and designed to promote positive emotional and social development of all participants. The Commission and Department will ensure optimal use of all resources and continually strive to improve the level of recreation and park services to the community.
Programming & Events
The Hyde Park Recreation Department offers year round programming and events for all Hyde Park residents. From our iconic Music in the Parks series to our senior activities club and summer camps, our town recreation department provides opportunities for cultural enrichment, as well as a multitude of passive and active leisure experiences.

In addition, to the wealth of programming provided by the Town of Hyde Park, we are the home of beautiful state and national parks, and many private swimming, tennis, and boating clubs. Because volunteering is part of our community's vibe, there are a variety of clubs and organizations that add dimension to our active recreation options.
